So is number of titles won the only metric of how good a player is? It is a team sport, so championships won is more of a measure of how the rest of the team is composed. By this definition, won't Jefferson always be Stewie's equal?

I think the writer is forgetting that Stewart is not alone and next year KML likely will be the 'senior' leader, and the following year Moriah and Morgan will be there helping.
