Steve Rushin was/is my favorite sports writer and one of my favorite writers, period. He's Mark Twain without the curmudgeonly attitude, a funnier, less cynical Jimmy Breslin or perhaps a taller mix of both. I've missed him while he's been in the throes and glories of fatherhood.

Sometime while concocting their genetic elixir he and Rebecca must have produced someone who can post up. I'll be looking for him or her in a few years.
