Stephen A: Geno is the GOAT

We didn't need anyone to tell us this. Rewatch the final game and see the result of GOAT coaching.
He recruited the best players and molded a team out of them.

For the record, Steven A does not really follow WBB. He sort of goes with the flow. A week or so back, he was on the SC/Dawn Staley bandwagon. After the Huskies beat down of the Gamecocks in the championship game, he conveniently slid back to the UConn/Geno side of the ledger.

Yeah, stock in this guy is zero. I agree, Geno's the GOAT for sure, but this guy saying it means less than zero....

Two —or more—things can be true at once.
1. Stephen A. Smith is an accomplished blowhard.
2-X. Everything he said about Geno is true!

PS- whatever happened to that other blowhard, the one who probably never saw a WBB game, Mr. Shaunessy?

He hasn't said a peep in four days.

Phew. That's a relief, as he was such a pompous jerk with opinions about everything.

Agree. The epitome of a blowhard....
He is in the deep minor leagues compared to Pat McAfee who has the IQ and awareness of a house plant. The single most overpaid personality in sports commentary while simultaneously being the least intelligent.

SAS can be a windbag, and I don't necessarily agree with many of his takes, but the man is intelligent and has earned his status.

In his column next Sunday, Shaughnessy will complain about Geno running up the score on UCLA and SC.

Stephen A. declares Geno Auriemma the greatest coach in American sports

I can't see to be able to load the clip...on ESPN
I only listen to Stephen A. when he’s trashing the Cowboys. He knows nada about WCBB.

He has been a Ju Ju fan and has been at a number of SC games. They were his pick to win it all until the knee mishap of the year.

Yes and there’s the whole LA Hollywood crowd thing. But has he ever seen any other WBB player live?

Good question, Steven A. does seek the bright lights.
