Those games are before Iowa. Hope we get the Oregon matchup. It's to bad Sedona Prince is out but the Ducks have 6'-8" Canadian Phillipina Kyei who would look to be a good matchup test. I am intrigued by Soares 3-point shooting for the Brazil national team, she hit 46%. Some of my fellow ISU have her pegged as some sort of physically overwhelming center (she is not). I think she is much more like a taller version of recently graduated Cyclone Kristen Scott. BTW, Cyclone fans complain every year that we don't have a top of P5 dominating center. I just sort of roll my eyes at those postings. Coach Fennelly has fielded a three point shooting guard dominated offense for several decades and the fans still don't get why we don't have a history of dominating centers. Not like there are tons of top tier posts there in the first place and if you are an elite post prospect your going to go to either an elite school, or if not, at least one that isn't mostly guard dominated. Lot of school recruit "projects" and you can get lucky with that, see Kansas State with Ayokea Lee and Iowa with Monika Cinzano. Cyclones have not been often lucky doing that. Wish my hometown Gophers had taken a flier at Lee or Cinzano. That's a couple big misses for them, don't think they even got "out recruited", just didn't really even recruit them.
