If healthy, she will be the best center in WCBB. But she may not get the recognition simply because the opportunities for shooting, blocking shots, easy put-backs in the paint will be shared with Breanna. A lesser center who stands alone for her team or may not be as unselfish as Stef may wind up with better stats. Stats are the only criteria some people understand. I really hope this doesn't happen because Stef deserves more recognition for what she has accomplished.

Stef deserves national accolades based on guts and sheer determination as well as her basketball prowess. I'm thinking not only her playing on gimpy legs during the tournament but also the effort she put in to transform herself physically before the season began to make herself a better player. To be fair, the television announcers certainly gave her a lot of credit for this.

She was on that Kodak AA team this past year , was she not? That guarantees her a spot on the Husky HOF wall and puts her a leg up
regarding AA recognition this coming year.

10 kids on that team: KML, Stef, Breanna and maybe Bria...4 of 10 sounds kinda grabby.

I don't see this as an issue - Stef will match up against the other team's center and BS will be on the forward/wings. Having such prolific scorers as KML and BS (and BH and BB and SC and Morgan) with her great passing skills will mean she seldom gets doubled - I mean who are you going to leave open! She will get her points and her boards and her assists. And as others have said - she made the 10 member AA team last year with BG taking the top center spot on all the other 5 member teams. As long as the foot/ankle issues are in the past she will have a monster year.
