Stadium's Goodman talked to a number of NBA executives about the pool of early entrant student-athletes to the draft.

The group is broken down into categories of: No-Brainer, It's Time to Leave for the NBA, They Say They’re Ready, But Leaving School Would Be a Mistake, Leaning Toward Going Pro … And It’s a Bad Idea, Please Don’t Do It, Youngster, Split Decision — NBA Execs Are Torn, The NBA Is Intrigued, But It’s Wise to Return to School, Unanimous: GO BACK TO SCHOOL! & Unlikely to Be Drafted (aka Should Absolutely Return).

Overall, very good report from Goodman.

His most spot on report is on the Leaning Toward Going Pro … And It’s a Bad Idea section.

Ayo Dosunmu - Crazy talented, but Illinois should be good next year and if he returns and he leads his team to a strong March, he's a guy who I can see make a surge next year a la Jarrett Culver. I find it weird why a player would leave on a downswing.

Malik Fitts - If he returns to Saint Mary's, he'll get the keys to the offense with Jordan Ford graduated and have a senior year season like what Chandler Hutchinson did when he was at Boise State. Fitts is a multi-faceted player and a year in that spotlight can do wonders for his stock.

Jalen Harris - Similar situation to Fitts. Last year, Harris shared the ball with a volume shooter in Jazz Johnson, a traditional point guard in Lindsey Drew and a long range shooter in Nisre Zouzoua. All three of these guys were double-digit scoring guards. Steve Alford NEEDS Harris to be the top dog, especially he'll start at point if he sticks around.

Andrew Nembhard - Yes, Florida has good guard depth, but Nembhard has so much potential. At that length/strength combo, if he can develop a 3-point shot his junior year, he'll be a 1st round pick.

Trendon Watford - You can see the potential in his game, but he hasn't put it together yet.

There are 28 no brainers and 8 time to go to the NBA. There are probably at least 5 internationals that will make the first round. Looks like a lot of disappointment to go around.

There is almost every year. Less guys came out this year than normal. Part of it is the virus. Can’t skyrocket up the charts without a full combine and workouts. And knows if we’ll get to that.

Garza is the only one that surprises me. Thought he'd be one or two ticks higher in that hierarchy.
