It seems that the WNBA Collective Bargaining Process should be fairly painless. While a logistical extension of the CBA deadline from Jan 1 to Jan 15 was agreed to, it sounds amicable.

WNBA, union extend CBA negotiations to Jan. 15
The WNBA and the players' union have again extended the CBA to allow negotiations to run through Jan. 15, 2020. Both sides said "substantial progress" on a new CBA is being made.
