Status of Blanca and Caroline for Butler game

Did Geno meet with the press today? If so, did he discuss Caroline and Blanca's availability? I guess we can figure ICE and Morgan are likely out for the rest of the season and for whatever reason, that Gandy will not play.
A side point for those of us not in CT, is the snow going to be an issue for Butler and fans getting to Hartford for the game?

In the post-DePaul presser, Geno said that Blanca looked good in drills. He also said that Caroline is always day to day. That's not a definitive answer regarding either, but I have my fingers crossed on Blanca.

Regarding the weather, the wind chill will be about 0, and there will be a few inches of snow. Last week, I tried to fly up for the Tennessee game, but American cancelled my 6:59 AM flight. Despite that, I booked another flight for tomorrow. But the weather forecast in DC calls for 50 mph winds. I think a commuter jet is likely to get grounded, so I unilaterally cancelled. Enjoy the game! I'll go up to Hartford and/or Uncasville later this season.

For what it may be worth, the UConn Daily Campus newspaper said on Friday: "Freshman forward Blanca Quiñonez, who’s missed the last three games with a reaggravated shoulder injury, could see the court for the first time this month."

It's Butler. Time for Serah and Jana to have big games.

It would be great if players were all ready to play. However, there is no need to inch them to play when they are not needed. Face it our league isn't a cat fight every game. So our ladies can take extra time. But then again its up to the team doctors first. For Blanca and Caroline there is plenty of time before the Big East Tournament, Selection Day and then the start of the NCAA Tournament.
