Starting lineups history

2 questions that someone out there might know:

1) how many different starting lineups has UConn had this year?
2) (the really tough one) what’s the most starting lineups in a UConn season?

This year feels like a record # of changes.

If my chart is correct, we've had 7 different lineups this year. Guessing in past years we've probably seen no more than 4?

As pointed out in the prior post, UConn has fielded 7 different lineups in 19 games this season. I can not imagine a season with more.

The snake bit 98-99 team had several lineups. Sue, Swin, and Shea all had injuries.

In 2000-01 Sveta and Shea got injured but not Sue.

That season had 9 different starting lineups comprising 11 different players. No player started all 35 games.

And it seems like 3 consecutive games with the same starters is the max (albeit it more than once).

A Blessing in Disguise?

On a related topic, injuries have forced Geno to use different lineups. But think about the first six games, who played limited minutes? Nika Muhl, Carolyn Duschamre, Dorka Juhasz ( apologies for spelling) Even Azzi Fudd. But once these three got to play extended minutes, they have been able to showcase their skills. Would this have happened without the injuries? That's subject to debate.

In 2003-04 started 34 of 35 games with the same lineup (Taurasi, Conlon, Strother, Moore and Turner). The 1 other game Valley & Battle started for Turner & Strother.
