For years I’ve been hearing how UConn’s second five would be a top-five, or a top 10 team. When you factor in Paige, with the exception of Aaliyah, this is basically the second string. Now, we will get to see how well they will do. I have a feeling that they will hang tough with Maryland. Or, maybe that’s just my wishful thinking/positive non objective attitude.

One could argue that without foul trouble from Lou they win. I would counter with playing fewer minutes was probably good for her sore foot. Nonetheless, they were closer than anybody could have predicted. Bravo.
