Top 50 is a very broad universe and really, any team contending for an elite eight season should have no issues with teams outside the top 25. So the above is a look at sort of a minimum acceptable universe of opponents. Missouri gains distinction as the only team to not schedule a single top 25 opponent!
West VA, Villanova, Cal, and Iowa have one such opponent.
Louisville, Baylor, Texas, Oregon, Maryland, Oregon State, Ok State, and So Fla had two.

In looking at scheduling I think it is appropriate to include Stanford because teams scheduled them thinking they would likely be top 10 quality and can't really be blamed now they have fallen out of the top 25. It is also valid to note that as long as Stanford does OK in conference play, the strength of their OOC will push them into the NCAAs over a lot of teams with much gaudier W/L records.
