I've gone to see Stanford in Seattle plenty of times over the years. Not this time. Just pretty discouraged about the state of affairs w/ UW.

Slow start, 4-3 Stanford almost 4 minutes in.

I think if you’re within two of Stanford at the first media break, you take that.

Staying at 3 points isn't a winning strategy. Stanford isn't running away with it but stretching the lead. Looking like an inept offense kind of game for the Dawgs.

Oh boy. I'm really glad I didn't pay money to see this. Stanford 6-17 from the floor, UW 1-11.

Since UW has seen so many leads evaporate this season, maybe they're trying to flip the script tonight. Let Stanford wear the heavy crown of an early lead and then run them down on the home stretch.

16-3 thru Q1. This is like the Hawaii game all over again. UW is 1-13 from the floor.

Somehow, I don't see that working very well either.

....my colleague may be onto something. Dawgs have closed to 17-12. It couldn't have possible gotten any worse after Q1.

edit--make that 18-16

No UW starter has scored, 3 minutes into Q2. Hailey Van Dyke leading the way w/ 7. I seem to recall a game like that earlier in the year, can't remember who it was against. Melgoza usually goes off against Stanford.

Stanford on a run now, up 29-19.

edit--UW has gotten 1 POINT from the starters, 19 minutes into the game. Unbelievable.

32-22 at halftime. Melgoza, where are you? Scoreless thus far. Henson has a FT, that is it from the starters.

Lexie has 11, K. Williams 9 for Stanford. 9 for Van Dyke and 7 for Watkins for UW.

Dang Huskies are alternating quarters where they don't score at all. 38-24 about midway thru Q3.

The Dawgs better not lose to Cal on Sunday.

Stanford shooting 33% from the floor, Huskies 26%. Crapfest. 41-28 Stanford. UW only has 3 points from starters 27 minutes into the game. Absolutely pathetic.

Washington making a little run. 41-33. Looks like Quay Miller has been doing most of their scoring in Q3.

UW now has a better FG% by the slightest of margins, but Stanford leading in made 3 point FGs 8-4. That's the difference in the game right there. TOs, rebounding and FTA are all close.

edit--big difference in 3 point FGA--Stanford 8-28 UW 4-11

Stanford maybe finally putting this one to bed, 8-1 to start Q4.

I would guess Melgoza hasn't been held scoreless since her Fr. year (barely played that season), but she's about 5 minutes away from that happening today. Just can't have that from your Sr. leader and best player.

58-41 final. Yuck. UW starters combined for 7 points, 3 of them were scoreless.

Lexie w/ a double double--17 and 11. 16 for Kiana.

UW shot 28%, Stanford 33%

So...Belibi went for a dunk in this one, just saw a highlight. Threw it off the back of the rim. I'm sure she'll get one during a game eventually.
