It's the championship game I believe. Courtney is playing on the wing, long and very slender, already has 12, just hit a lefty runner. Good fundamentals, always in motion w/o the ball, not especially quick or athletic, but good ballhandler and shooter.
Courtney Ekmark scouting report:
Strengths:
deadly outside shooter especially when she has time to set her feet
very smart player, knows when to go back door, knows how to use her length etc.
nice form on her shot and free throws... "pure shooter"
always in motion, knows how to get open
Weaknesses:
does not finish well inside, missed too many contested/difficult layups
she has to get some rebounds with that length, did not see her get any
needs to get into the weight room and do some drills to improve her strength, quickness and athleticism
Plenty of time to work on these weaknesses, since she is just a HS soph.
She is a junior, I think.Courtney Ekmark scouting report:

Correct:She's class of 2014 which makes her a soph.
It was the announcer's fault. They called her a junior during the broadcast. She's class of 2014 which makes her a soph.
I agree on all points.Coming from Arizona on an unofficial visit on her own dime is impressive. She has lots of time to develop...hope we keep taking serious looks at each other....a complementary pure shooter from 2014 sounds good to me.
