Not great...
What a dumb question. Double bigs of course. Or the vaunted Triple Bigs! How the heck would they play without Diarra, Mahaney and Nowell?
+1 Singare playing the pointWhat a dumb question. Double bigs of course. Or the vaunted Triple Bigs!
That's a good question, I would say Ross if it comes to that. He's been playing better, at least defensively. It will be trial by fire for him. Not a great scenario playing St John's.How the heck would they play without Diarra, Mahaney and Nowell?

Absolutely agree, but if it is not a bit of gamesmanship get the Toradol ready. In the words of Herb Brooks by the way of Kurt Russell, "A bruise to the leg is a hell of a long way from the heart."Beli school of injury report - keep StJ guessing. No way these guys aren’t going to play as many minutes as they can in this game.
Yeah, I was like "Oh, they have a Nowell too? Wait what..."Your title suggested the Johnnies injury woes not ours!!

If McNeeley is healthy, I'd let him run point, as I think he's our best ball handler outside of those three. Since he's on a restriction... probably mostly a combination of Ball and Karaban? Maybe some Stewart? It would get ugly quickly though in the face of any ball pressure.
Hopefully we have at least two of Diarra/Mahaney/Nowell available to play though, or we might eclipse our TOs in the Marquette game.
It stated Mahaney and Diarra are game time decision, so I'm hopeful both will be available. How the heck would they play without Diarra, Mahaney and Nowell?
I hope you are correct and this is gamesmanship on Hurley's part. Look at fatroony's post # 9 in this thread. I am concerned we don't see Diarra at full health for the rest of the season. And that is too bad, because he has been better than expected by grabbing the starting PG position by the throat and playing well.Beli school of injury report - keep StJ guessing. I see my doctor tomorrow, but I think I'm probably out as well.
Based on what I understand Diarra has tendinitis of the knee. That is something you can play through. He had 6 days to rest it, if not ready tomorrow when will he be?I hope you are correct and this is gamesmanship on Hurley's part. Look at fatroony's post # 9 in this thread.
