OT: SRX Racing Series Coming To Stafford

Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham new racing series are starting a legends style racing series in 2021. Drivers from all different disciplines racing at small town small tracks. Kanaan, Tracy, Elliot Castroneves and more.


Races will be televised on CBS on Saturday nights.

Stafford Motor Speedway is first event.

This sounds like a great night at the racetrack. Grew up going to Stafford with my dad and family helped out with a late model track champ and Busch North series driver.

Would be great if the SRX series could get some local track legends/heroes to compete with the famous drivers in these events.

I would have paid top dollar to see Teddy Christopher and Mike Stefanik in that starting lineup (RIP to both, both victims of tragic plane wrecks in the past 3 years). Teddy & Mike were amazing wheelmen that could drive any kind of racecar to the front.
