A lot of fans down here are calling for Squids head..... I was listening to the post game show tonight and they are absolutely wanting a change. " we are Kentucky how can we lose a 21 point deficit to a high school team" " horrible coaching" ........

Love every minute of it

I say if they exit early or at this rate don't make the tourney... Then he will be in the nba next year. The pressure cooker is cooking

Too bad Cleveland was stupid and signed a coach to a three year contract. LeBron would have loved to have his buddies Cal and Wes in Cleveland. Maybe LeBron just couldn't convince the owner to pay Cal what he wanted.

but they are not there to win games! That is not the priority! Its to get kids ready for the NBA...

he's not leaving, he gets $10M a year and has free pipeline to all the best players. HE is not a good enough coach to succeed in the NBA but is at this level

All this does is prove UK fans are complete morons hayseeds. But that was already established fact anyway.

Kentucky doesn't win because it's Kentucky. It's currently winning because of Squid and his recruiting. Then they sold their soul to the devil hired the guy in 2009, because they could no longer compete with the big boys. Just a half year prior, they were excoriating Cal and his recruiting at Memphis.

The Squid will not coach NBA because that means he will actually have to work and his bs rants and raves won't work with guys earning more than him.
He's made a place for himself being a babysitter for the NBA and gets paid way too much for doing it
The problem for him is that he can not be lucky enough to have a unit that will click every year and the key is how long will the Kensucky fans put up with it
The novelty might have been nice but how long will it last? Most of these players will be one and done at any place so some future guys might stay close to home or where they can be the one big fish for that year
