That might be the fact that is true, but it's not what their graphic showed, and it's not what Rece Davis said.

It's probably the case that they assumed that if it was true for SEC play it was true overall (given how unlikely it is to face an OOC foe twice in a year), but that's unacceptably lazy research.

This is of course a general slam at punditry in general because Goodman was working at CBS when this was written. But he has not evolved and he now works for ESPN.
