He's definitely ready. The Astros offered him a 7 year (I think it was 7 years) contract to buy out his arbitration years then sent him to AAA. Seemed contradictory to many including the MLBPA, who brought it to court (or at least pursued the possibility). Should have made the club out of spring training and the fact that the Astros brought him up WELL before the Super 2 deadline only shows that they are acknowledging their own mistake.
 
The Astros also noticed their current outfield is batting a combined .173

Interesting how not everyone mentions anything about Rajai Davis, he's playing for the Tigers, make sure you tell UConnhuskies.com, he's the third UConn player on a MLB roster. Incredibly happy for Springer though!

Davis never saw Storrs - he was UConn - Avery Point only (but still a Husky @ heart I guess)
