After two high-production seasons at TE, UConn is looking to find some answers at the position this spring. Justin Joly, who led the team in recieving in 2023 with 56 catches for 578 yards and two TDS, departs to Raleigh, joining NC State. UConn brought in two TEs through the portal last season, adding Louis Hansen from Michigan, and Alexander Honig from TCU.

Last year we had 40 or 50 TEs on the squad and barely threw to them.

And Joly was split out very often, he was a hybrid TE/WR/Slot.
