When introducing the starting lineup why isn't there a spotlight put on each UCONN player as they are introduced? The whole place is dark from the scoreboard video and you can't see the players as they are introduced.
Score board operator errors must stop. Clean things up so our guys have a chance.

Honestly who cares? Lol

The scoreboard is pretty bad with stats, however. So hard to follow.

There are no stats anywhere in the xl center. Both arenas need updating

The XL Center only got new lights this year. They probably don't know how most of the stuff works yet. They certainly haven't figured out the scoreboard after 5 years.

I sit in the middle 100s sideline. Annoys the heck out of me that I have to look at points and reboundson one side of the board, then look over to see the others.

Bring a flashlight. Maybe that could be your thing.

The host is great and the volume needs to be loud. I have been to every UCONN home game for 35 yrs and we need this kind of enthusiasm.
We don't need some random guy trying to force chants the crowd doesn't want to do.

Why?

Because UConn is always a year or two behind on things like this. Why does the presentation look aesthetically subpar? Same reason the three, maybe four if you are lucky, t-shirts and hoodies you see in CT retailers looks like .

UConn did a study and found out that bright lights on players immediately before a game can overload their optic nerve causing listless starts. Some players are naturally more susceptible than others. If only we figured this out before Larrier left.

FWIW, someone took a picture with flash of Jalen just before the Manhattan game he struggled to recover the whole game. Remember people, turn off your flash before entering the arena.

Maybe it was the intermittent flash from the light tree that kept Jalen in his funk. What the hell is with that?

Thats because reflections bounce off all the empty seats and create a laser type focused light.
