Thought it would be interesting to post current National Championship odds throughout the season as a way of monitoring sportsbooks opinion of us and our competition. Odds will vary between different books but it is a good overall reference point. I was fortunate enough to get a large sum down on my site when we opened at 115/1 over the summer prior to the Gibbs announcement. Since that point the line has consistently dropped and it is now sitting at 35/1 (15th/16th best chance in the country). Another note, the team right below us happens to be Michigan...as many have posted that is a HUGE early season game for us. If anyone wants to know the odds for teams not on the screenshot I will be happy to post and have listed a few opponents below.

Texas: 50/1
Cincy: 85/1
Georgetown: 80/1
Ohio State: 110/1
Tulsa: 300/1

Thanks for the post Matt. Definitely encouraging to see us move as much as we have so far. Big big big boy game against Michigan coming up!

For what it's worth, Bovada has UConn considerably with considerably better odds at +1800 (tied for 7th best).

Gold Dust in Reno would give me only 25 - 1. In September. I put $200 on us. Will get $5200 back.

Yeah lot's of variability. Bovada opened with us at 60/1 so that has also plummeted.

US books generally offer much lower returns compared to off shores so that doesn't surprise me. Still would be an awesome cash!
That has me interested, actually.
It's tough for me to admit but I also have a future on Cincy at a slightly higher #. I justified it to myself by putting substantially more on us.

Had a buddy in Vegas a while ago, Uconn was 50-1 and two days later it was 20-1.

Yeah, I put a play in on Bovada a few months ago at +2500. Now it's down to +1800.

As of this morning we are down to 20/1 on my main site, this has us tied for 8/9th in terms of best odds.

I got us at 100/1 on Bovada pre-Miller. Threw down 30 bucks to win $3,000. Wish I put more. Like others have said, Line now sits at 18/1 for us on that site.

My stupidest non move ever. I was in Vegas for '13 Tourney. Didn't even put $20 on us at 100-1. Idiot

Looks like it could another good buying opportunity coming up if people were looking for worse odds/bigger potential payout.

Definitely will be looking when I get back to Vegas this weekend.

Best book(s) to go to?
