Actually keep the game day app on my ipad so I can switch back during critical moments when watching other things. maybe i have no attention span.  Announcers can’t find new things to say so turning the sound off helps at times. The mound visit restrictions save little to no time. 
          I would not allow the batters to step out of the box at all unless they get knocked down or spun out of there at the umps digression. The penalty is a strike awarded to the defense. Also pitchers taking too long get a ball called on them if they go beyond 20 seconds to make a pitch once the ball is returned to them. How about a hitter that slides into second on a double. they hold their hand up to call time in every case. baseball games were 2 hours for a long time but 3 and nearly 4 hour games are quite common. It’s watching paint dry.
