The Washington Post has a review of Larry Olmstead's new book, "Fans." He paints a very rosy picture of us, making many claims about the benefits of fandom in WaPo's "Wellness" section. You might want to quibble with his final comment about whether it matters if your team wins or loses. Are UConn fans just front-runners, or is there something intrinsically pleasurable about just being a fan?
