You do realize that we didn't make most of these lists after bringing in Newton, Alleyne, Diarra and Calcaterra after 2021-2022, right? Nor did we make it the next year when we brought in Cam Spencer. As we all now know, the Newton/Alleyne/Diarra/Calcaterra transfer class was one of the two or three best that year; And Spencer was easily one of the top 5 most valuable transfers in 2023. So why give a rat's ass about who ranks us where in these ratings? One of the real beautiful things about college basketball is that all these ratings mean nothing when the ball gets thrown up from November through the first weekend in April. And more often than not Hurley and staff have gotten a few huge hits in the transfer portal... including the aforementioned transfers who helped lead directly to us winning back-to-back National Titles. And I would not switch any of those 5 guys mentioned for anyone who transferred to other places in those 2 years. So I am quite happy with all the guys brought in this year, and we have an excellent chance of having another very special year this year, thanks in large part to the transfers we have brought in. That says it all, to me.
