A test? I mean, maybe if you compare them to New Hampshire and Grambling and Houston Baptist and the Youngest Daughters of the Poor, Forlorn and Travel-Weary.

Let's put it this way. We've all been piling on Texas for horrible play so far, and rightly so. You and I have both noted that they don't even look like an NCAA tournament-caliber team so far. Well, USF just barely beat Texas at home after Texas barely showed up in time because their bus went to the wrong arena.

Wow, the self-immolation of Texas makes Baylor's schedule even more pathetic than it already was, which is saying a lot. The Big 12 is going to be AAC-like. Edit to add: Maybe even worse than the AAC, if USF is better than any of Baylor's conference rivals.

If you think I said that last year, then you haven't been paying attention to who says what.

Baylor actually played one of the best nonconference schedules in the country last year. RPI ranked #2 overall SOS and #4 nonconference SOS. They played four top-25 nonconference opponents. Kim had earned a reputation for weak scheduling in previous years, but last year was a definite exception. I don't know why Kim felt the need to downgrade her schedule so severely this year.
