Smart to put the 12/28 game in Bridgeport (if it ends up there and not Mohegan).

I still cringe when I see Bridgeport on the schedule
Why? I think it's great a lot of people can't/won't make the drive to Hartford or storrs and the arena is pretty nice. Is it in a flashy area? Not really but it's a lot closer to ffld county especially for kids who would love to see them

Couldn't agree more. I have 2 small kids and live in FF Cty. I relish the chance to see the Huskies play in Bport and my kids will be thrilled to death. Driving up to Storrs or Hartford to see games is challenging, but this is a piece of cake for me and a LOT of other moms&dads in the area. I wouldn't be surprised if large blocks of tickets are sold through the kids schools or boy scouts, etc. They do this type of thing for the Bluefish games and the kids go wild.

I am advocating for MORE exposure for this part of the state.

You're not allowed to complain if you're the one who started the two gossip threads.

Having purchased XL tickets, this is even crappier news for me than the "Crappy Snider Rumor" thread.....;)

agreed, i would love to have maybe a big time game i think that place would go crazy, more so than hartford due to the surrounding towns, maybe on a holiday break or weekend(by bus from uconn) so the students can go... plus i would like to take the train and drink on it to bpt so i dont have to drive
