Indeed: in 15 years, we've enjoyed:

• The three longest winning streaks in WCBB history and four of the top five, including the longest in CBB D1 history.
• If we're starting with 2002, that's nine NCs out of the 11 total when no other program has more than eight.
• Five undefeated seasons (2002, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2016). That's as many as all other programs have accomplished combined throughout the entire course of AIAW and NCAA tourneys (Immaculata 1973, La Tech 1981, Texas 1986, Tennessee 1998, Baylor 2012).
• An all-time UConn starting five in that pic- Stewie, Maya, Tina, Sue, Diana- that is so good it doesn't even include Rebecca freaking Lobo despite her overall program contributions.
• With Maya, Tina, Sue, Stewie, and DT, that's five #1 WNBA draft picks. I don't even want to try counting first round as a whole.
• Overall W-L of 530-36, or roughly 94% winning percentage.

Quite a run for sure...

Dee made a statement with her performance, and being against Nurse, gave Geno a full season's worth of coaching-fodder. "Your defense is making their guard look like Taurasi!" or "You look like you're helping an old lady across the street! Then again, look what the LAST old lady did to you!"

All in the best interest of the game, the school and the player. Nurse will become better because of what Dee did to her. A virtuous cycle; in 12 years, Nurse will be grinding some up-and-coming UConn star into the dust the same way, and for the same reasons.

Not that it would probably matter too much, but Nurse is not at 100% yet after her surgery.

I don't know if anyone's posted this yet, but the most impressive aspect of this pic is that the people in it have a record of 530-36 and 10 Natty's over a period of 15 years. That's a winning percentage of .936, what other school can match that? I hate college recruiting, but I'd show this to a recruit with that backstory.
