Jalen Adams, Connecticut: There were flashes of Adams’ emergence last season, but he’s taken the reins of the Huskies and produced -- despite UConn’s 2-4 start. He went for 34 against Evans and Oklahoma State, but turned it over 10 times. Adams is the playmaker Kevin Ollie wants, but wins have to come next.
