Recent threads have garnered opinions on who is the GOAT, Paige vs Caitlin, or what will be the starting five for UConn in the upcoming season. Of course, it borders on impossible to reach unanimous consensus. As it is the off-season, I thought it would be interesting to get feedback on songs that people identify with a particular decade. Unlike the above mentioned threads, music speaks differently to each of us.

It is an impossible task to limit a decade to 3 songs, but I'd like to hear what people come up with. I' ll start with the 60's and head up to the 90's. Pick the songs you identify with.

My list:

1960's: Light My Fire, The Doors; White Rabbit, Jefferson Airplane, Satisfaction, The Rolling Stones

1970's: From the Beginning, Emerson, Lake and Palmer; Lowdown, Boz Scaggs; Heroes, David Bowie

1980's: This Must Be the Place, Talking Heads, Just Like Heaven, The Cure, Voices Carry, 'Til Tuesday

1990's: Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana; Closer, Nine Inch Nails, Missing (Todd Terry Remix(, Everything But The Girl

As far as defining an era, as opposed to fave songs;
"If you're going to San Francisco" and
For What its Worth.
