I get the philosophy behind one play doesn't determine a game.

But even Diaco doesn't believe it. [(Yes I know, I'm mind reading, but here's why.)] He is so freaked out about turnovers, he obvious thinks one TO might cost him the game.

Wish he was just as freaked out by time management and would apply himself to learning that skill.

I think by some miracle the BY has come to a consensus that Diaco facked up the sequence at the end of the game.

He's not getting fired and nor should he.

So the nonstop threads saying the same thing over and over again while calling for his head are just getting goshdarn tedious.

I think they repeat because the error was so egregious and fundamental it's hard to get your head wrapped around it. Then, to have the guy pretend his errors didn't takeaway a chance to win takes the cake. Incompetent decisions when it's on the line coupled with hubris stirs conversation. He could have put it to bed in ten minutes with "I screwed this up. It's on me. Not the players. I feel terrible. As HC it's my job to manage and lead and I didn't get it done. As a new HC it's clear I need to learn and get better. This won't ever happen again." End of story everyone moves on supporting him. But, Bob's pride is in the way.

Our kickoff return team leaves a lot to be desired as well. Navy beat the heck out of them on the first one and set the tone for their fast start. We aren't looking like we want to block for the return man at all. The Navy side was way more aggressive all day. On punt coverage we have 2 defensive tackles and one offensive tackle in front of the punter. If the return man gets loose how are these guys going to react in space and get to the returner?

Was at game on SAturday and paid close attention to the kick return game. We are just flat out bad. About 2-3 guys actually make a block and the others seem to avoid contact. I hate the fumble but those guys (returners) are trying to make a play with no real chance. I remember the days when we were real dangerous on kick returns. Now I just hope we don't get our return guy killed.
