Some thoughts on Campenni, Marriner and Pruitt (Des)

Marriner looks ready to HuskyUp:
"Marriner is ready for his opportunity.
He might be considered diminutive but don't be fooled. Marriner has a nice combination of the wiggles and power.
"I love contact no matter what," Marriner said. "Contact is great because people always think because I'm small I'm scared to get hit or I'm scared to deliver a blow and that's not the case."
It's probably safe to say that of the more than 2,000 yards Marriner gained as a senior in high school, it didn't all come on sweeps.
"It helps to deliver a message," Marriner said.
That said, Marriner is going to have to determine when the time is right to lower the boom and when not to. Sometimes he's going to have to resist the urge to bring it.
"No matter if somebody comes with a full head of steam I know when to stop on a dime vs. when I can just run through somebody," he said. "It's just a reaction for me. There's no thinking about it you just do it.""
I LOVE backs that finish their runs. Sounds a lot like Donald Brown.
