Quality win for the Huskies. The delusional folks that thought we weren't a lock to make the tournament will hopefully calm down now.
I wasn't comforted by how we closed things out however. Four missed free throws in the last minute and a lot of trouble inbounding the ball and breaking the press. I hope coach can draw up a couple of reliable plays for this. One time we seemed to break the press fine but the ball was passed to a wide open Boatright who seemed to not be paying attention whatsoever. We got it back on a held ball but I'm not sure what Ryan was thinking (or not thinking) there.
Cincinatti necessarily started attacking the offensive boards as well and we didn't seem to respond wonderfully. They were really scrapping and we didn't quite match the intensity.
Let's tighten up those end-of-game situations in hopes that we encounter lots of opportunities to close teams out in the next month or so.
