Tremont Waters 6’0/Team SCAN

The silent assassin was back at it again and though his squad came up short in the championship game against the Georgia Stars, it wasn’t because of the SCAN guard’s inability to leave a large fingerprint on the game. Hitting three consecutive 3’s in one portion of the game with a balanced and complete follow-thru, to spot on passes in transition, Waters can do it inside and out. His frame is beginning to expand as is his confidence as a floor general. Many up north believe he is a shoe in for UConn in 2017, though his dad dispelled the rumors and remain wide upon with the entire process in the coming years.

I don't see how anyone could say a 2017 recruit is a lock for a school.

Waters is very skilled for his age group, step backs, hesitation moves, very Bazz like with his offensive game

He's not a lock, no one ever is, but he should be a target. I think he'd be easier to get than most. From our backyard and is a UCONN fan himself. His game is everything you want from a PG; handle, vision, ability to creat shots for himself and others, knocks down shots if you leave him open and he's an above average defender. My only fear at all would be that he doesn't grow, only about 5'8 or 5'9. That said he's only a freshman in high school so there's plenty of time.
