I have vivid memories (nightmares even) of Liv Dorka Aaliyah having to wrestle the ball up to shoot in the paint, arms reaching for them on all sides. I think those days are gone. Do we have a lockdown defender other than Nika or Aubrey? I think Azzi and Caroline can handle most guards. But Christyn shut down Caitlin Clark two years ago. If Nika isolates on Harmon, can Caroline and Azzi shut down Morris and Gonzalez? Sure, we can bring in Aubrey to great effect. But when Christyn shut down Clark, she also scored like 27 herself. We will be a force to be reckoned with. But there is much to admire in those bygone seniors. [/QUOTE]
