With five players who have the ability to light it up on any given night, however, we’re going to need all hands on deck or else we’ll get burned focusing on one or two guys Hitting the first three points likely requires Hurley to stick to his guns, and not let Nova bully us into playing small ball where we stand around the perimeter and wait for someone to go to work. Hitting on the fourth point will be a lot tougher - we have some shoddy three point defense (specifically from the likes of Whaley, Sanogo - to not much fault of their own given their compositions). I’m no defensive maestro so I won’t comment on how best to make up for that, but it’ll likely come down to a trade off of how much our bigs are giving us on the offensive end versus costing us on perimeter defense that will make the decision of what our lineups look like, unfortunately. Overall, I think Jackson may actually be the x-factor today with his ability to guard multiple positions, next level passing ability/movement on offense, and ability to get his in spots. Keep in mind we haven’t seen him really play alongside Bouk yet since he was in foul trouble last game.
