Congrats Solo on a thousand points in your UConn career. And he reached it in a little more than two and three quarters years. I hope you come back to UConn to get mant more points your senior year. Congrats again Solo. Also congrats on being Big East Player of the Week.

Solo has been on fire the past two games. Since finding his rhythm again from long range our offense suddenly gets much better.
 
now that the wrist is feeling better, I expect 40%+ from three the rest of the season!

Wasnt he like 5-15 from 3 the last game?

Better than his season average but solo wasnt exactly on fire.

If he does get hot though look out, I for one think it’s coming.

Started 4/7 and ended 5/15. So was both on fire and then cold as ice
 
Alright, just the same, he put up 20 plus two games in a row and was named BIG EAST player of the week. Hopefully he has found his stroke and will be hot the rest of the season.

I certainly hope so. Solo shooting 3s at 40-45 percent consistently brings us to a whole other leave when added to the mid range jumper he has added. On fire at 50-60 percent for a few games im a row would make us really tough to beat in March.

The defense is somewhat what it is, Hurley just needs to plan our D around it.

Would love to see Solo getting 6-7 boards a night. He has been better in that area of late it seems but has the ability for more and more consistency on the glass.

His overall game is better this year, another step up next year he could have a real memorable 26-27 playing off of Silas.

Congrats on 1,000 Solo!!!!

There were at least 3 attempts including one before halftime where he had to heave up a shot as clock was expiring. If you back those out his shooting was solid

One of those was a halftime buzzer heave and he also got passed at least 2-3 end of shot clock grenades

I was hoping Solo would prove me wrong, and I guess he still has a chance, but last night was yet another piece of evidence aligning with my comments.
