So why did SD, CD, and BH get benched in the second half?

I didn't see anything during the first half or at the beginning of the second half to explain why Geno would bench the starters for the last 15 minutes. Anybody g9t answers?!

Clearly, he wanted to provide some fodder for the Boneyard Game Thread critics. Inevitably, he got it with the disparaging comments about the last eleven minutes of the game.

Even a Ferrari sputters when you ride the clutch and take your foot off the accelerator.

Geno clearly didn't want to run the score up on a former assistant.....The game was well in hand. It also was a chance to give the bench some minutes.

I don't have perfect recall, but it seemed to me that Faris made two stupid turnovers then got yanked. Shortly after that, Doty threw the ball to a Bearcat and got yanked. It looked to me like Geno was making reducing those boneheaded turnovers a point of emphasis.

Clearly the bench players had been performing inadequately on the high fives following 3-pointers. Geno needed his starters on the bench to show them how it's done.
