I mean, Warde and Susan look like crap in this situation, but it's kind of ridiculous to say it's their fault. Seemed pretty obvious from the day Maryland left that the ACC wasn't exactly chomping at the bit to get UConn. It's a slap in the face to say "well yeah, but if we want you guys we can always just come back and get you later", but we can't deny that it's the stone cold truth.

It is not the fault of anyone at UConn. The ACC made a bad selection...again.

Realistically, Blumenthal, Hogan and Hathaway. They all helped pave the way downward. HCPP and his band of pirates isn't helping, nor was Calhoun retiring but I think those are far below the older history. We can't hang this on the present - and very new - administration.

The ACC was swayed by FSU's threatening to leave. It's the one team that league can't afford to lose. More of a culture bias (southern) thing. This stuff isn't over, and we still have a lot to offer.

Today sucks, but we'll still land on our feet when this is over.

It's not our admins fault but they didn't help by not looking like we want to be big time in college sports for a long time. Kev's 7 month contract says we don't trust you and we can't afford a couple mill. Second look how big time football programs act if they have 2 bad seasons and a coach perceived by their fan base as out of touch not capable. Sure a couple of wins but maybe 6-6 should have been at least 9-3. We don't act big time.

The fanbase has been pretty vocal about the FB situation and the realignment fiasco over the last couple of years. The administration knew the score and we were the #1 choice before the FSU comments and the Louisville lobbying began. Instead of responding loudly and publicly our AD continued his vacation and the rest took a wait-and-see approach while the sirens were going off around them.

They waited and they saw and we got our ass kicked without throwing a punch.

In business you if you're in charge you don't do things. You don't make the cars or manufacturer things or sell them. So your not responsible for doing that work but you are ultimately accountable. So regardless of why we didn't get selected the administration is accountable. Period they would answer to the board the stockholders.
