Now the hand wringing and finger pointing starts I suppose. Tell you what, Creighton is a deep, talented well rounded team. The stats show shortcomings but not out of line with Creighton's shortcomings. Villanova schooled the Huskies and Creighton did as well......again. It was a hard fought game and there is nothing to suggest we can't expect good results in the big dance.
In this sort of game you expect your stars like Bouknight and Cole to put the team on their backs and score points that are critical. That isn't the way of this team however. They needed the team dynamic to win it and it just got outplayed by a team with a better team dynamic.....again.
You'll see. The Huskies will outperform in the NCAA Tournament. This may even be a motivational tool that helps counter an over confidence previously discussed that is not helpful. Now it's a chip on their shoulder.
They've got the tools. They do something in the big tournament and no one is gonna remember this deal at all.

No consistent three point threat to open the floor. Polley has the ability. He showed it last year. There are no flukes. He has it in him. If he starts draining them again and gets the green light, we can be very dangerous.

For UConn it will be a team thing. Polley good player but will be the last one to carry us.
Let's hope the bad taste in our mouths makes a difference.

Another possible advantage is the short turnaround between games and the lack of familiarity with us. It's one thing to see our defense on tape but then to face it...just a thought.
