Schiano lost to Villanova and New Hampshire. Even in Edsall's early years we were rolling 1aa teams.

Atleast when he lost to New Hampshire it was a week after beating MSU.

We better beat MD next week.

Sciano was 28-48 in the Big east ... 16-19 after his huge win against Louisville ... and he had all that Joisey talent at Snookie U!
Maybe some stupid NFL schmuck can take this carcass we call a Head Coach out of our sight!

for 100 or so years before Schiano.
Considering RU had a better winning percentage and more successful program than UCONN over the last 100 years, you must be used to this feeling.

Meanwhile, RU is beating 10 point favorite Fresno State on the road 20-7.

More successful? I don't think so Buggsy, maybe more time in 1A but NOT more successful! I think you seem to forget the 80's and 90's when coaches like Terry Shea couldn't even get NJ kids to look at Rutgers. My buddy turned Rutty down to go to UCONN back then. Schiano turned that around, and if it wasn't for him you would still not be signing NJ kids. Rutgers SUCKED for a LONG time, any loyal fan will admit that..AND we all know if it wasn't for all those tv sets in NJ you would be a member of the AAC just like us!

RU is 35th in wins all-time, uconn isn't top 80
RU has a winning record all time, uconn has a losing record
RU has multiple undefeated seasons, uconn went 3-0 in 1914. the only time you've won double digit games was once under skip holtz in 1998.
the 90s were the only time that uconn could ever have been considered better than rutgers

You also seem to forget your faculty trying to shut down your program in 80's and 90's!! Don't get too high on that horse my friend...ONLY reason you are going to B1G is the tv sets in NJ! Look back in history and tell me when until Schiano got HC job did top NJ kids commit to Rutgers?
Your "history" didn't get you s_h_i_t..tv set numbers did!

You forgot to put down that Rutgers also owns the worst defeat of a FBS school by a FCS school
2002 37-19 loss to Villanova

Our football program hasn't accomplished all that much since 1896, compared to "Power 5 conference" programs. Including Indiana and Northwestern. They are in the B1G, after all. We can't even look down on Washington State for a while anymore. We do have historic wins here and there, but man, do we have some embarrassing losses or series records.

We were also undefeated in 1924.

Good to know Rutgers has another jack ass coach who goes for 2 in OT and loses 52-51 cause they don't make it.
