Notre Dame - 1

Villanova - 1

You're welcome, everyone else.

WOW didnt realize that, thats amazing

There are only 5 schools that have won both men and women BB titles. Uconn, MD, UNC, Stanford and UCLA.

Let's expand on that. The Big East website states that from 1979-2012 the Big East has won a total of 32 national championships, add in the two more this year to go to 34. I count 15 for UConn in that same period... so 44% of all Big East national titles were won by UConn. I wonder if you start looking at Big East titles how dominant UConn has been.

And you're not even counting polo. UConn, home of Champions.

Villanova has the most national championships of any Big East team. If you count individual titles it isn't really that close.

We are not counting individual titles. Track and swimming have team titles. Otherwise you have 100 chances a year to win a title in track and one in most other sports. We could say that we were the national champions in blocked shots for eight years in a row.

It seems to me that Keith Closs should have two national championships though. That only seems fair.

You ever see that video OC Keith Closs getting jumped in LA? Bizarre.
