...having taken their best shot at cutting us decides to use up to date data in their July meeting? It makes sense. They've done as much damage as they can. They can save face by saying that they did not relent of the provision. UConn's APR has met these guidelines.

If there's no chance, why have we litigated? We seem awfully quiete. Unless something is happening in the margins (either with this penalty of with conference realignment) I would think we'd be making our case in the papers or in court.

I like to think there's a chance, but who knows

maybe that's why things are relatively quite, school waiting out one last gasp

I'm not sure litigation is a great answer. It's uncertain whether we would win, and there's no doubt in my mind that the capos at the NCAA can be vindictive. By suing, we might simply make ourselves a target for future NCAA actions. It's a difficult situation. The best response, IMO, is to have a great season in 2012-13 and win another national championship in 2013-14.

Judging by how few responses in this thread, i think a lot of people are getting tired of talking about this
