So Creighton's reward for its hard fought win over UConn was...humiliation. Did it hurt their tournament seeding? Hard to tell.

Sour grapes? At least they got to the championship game, so I get no joy from their loss, and can't hate them because they played better than we did.

Not sour grapes at all. To the contrary, I felt for them. The last thing they must have expected was a defeat that crushing.
