So, Another Dud To Start Second Half

Duds to start the second half.

This has been by far the most glaring and consistent area needing improvement for the coaching staff.

Whatever it is Huey and his staff are doing it doesn't work.

It is fixed by quality coaching. When your team is repeatedly out played in the second half, that is on the coaches.

We have players who aren't good at enough of the skills it takes to win basketball games.

There are at least 3 on the floor any any given time who can't defend the slowest most obvious ball fakes or pick roll screens.

You can't give up a 16-4 run to start the second half and expect to win. If not for that pitiful start to the 2nd half who knows. Bad offense AND defense together. Valiant effort in the last 8 or 9 minutes.

Hurley almost willed us to a win starting when we cut the lead to ten. That was impressive. But it would have been nice to not have to dig out of a hole again to get there.

We will be good again, it's 100% recruiting. Culture and talent were wrecked, he's building the culture back up but these kids just aren't good enough to execute the plan. Next year will be the start but need to fill the class up with more talent, the year after is where we will make a major jump.
