It was interesting going through this and seeing the evolution of basketball sneakers. Some of the ones on the best list are uglier than the ones on the worst list.

Loved the following;
Bo Jackson cross trainers
Griffey’s
Barkley’s
C Webb’s
Deion’s
Air max 94(ray wore these a lot) up tempos I believe
And of course various Jordan’s
These were peak years of 1992-1998

Definitely disagree with a few, but this is a pleasantly surprising awesome list by ESPN.

May just be nostalgia speaking, but damn, kicks used to be so much better... thinking mid nineties to mid 2000s

Griffeys and Deions for sure

So many good Air Jordan and Nike shoes, no real surprises towards the top. But These never get any love, but I always loved the Air Jordan 19s after seeing Ben Gordon rock them. Under appreciated shoe, under appreciated player.

Out of those you mentioned the only ones I’ve never had were prob the Barkley’s and C Webb joints. Love your list and totally agree

Owned like 50%+ of that list. Pennys, pippen, Garnett and grant hills were always my preference for playing in. Jordan's only wore for fashion. Still upset I blew out the sole of the first retro release of Jordan 3 mochas 4 years ago they were unworn still in box with card. Still have the first edition retro of true blues and cement that I refuse to ever take out of box or wear
