It will be interesting to see how that goes. His entire roster is Texas kids right now.
The AAC, where we groom coaches for their next P5 job.
Weird. They were only 7-5 this year. Granted, SMU was a dumpster fire and he did help to turn it around, but they aren't that good.
If Randy stays long term, we'll be a bastion of continuity!
Reality. Gotta pay more if you want to keep em.
Well the coaches want to get into bigger schools P5. Our conference if we can’t keep them we might not be able to afford to keep the them
He ran a great offense at Clemson, turned SMU around, and has excellent recruiting ties to the Dallas-Fort Worth area high school coaches. And DFW produces 5% of all Division 1 players.
Arkansas used to be a top 10 (or at least 20) program when they could recruit in Texas. When they left for the SEC, that recruiting dropped off. They're counting on Morris to fix that somewhat.
If the money is closer I don't thunk you'll lose coaches to Kansas and Rutgers. But if Kansas and Rutgers are paying double what you can offer, you can't compete.
Phew - I'm beginning to think we won by going 3-9. Winning = coaching losses.
Edsall wasn't going anywhere this time around. This is his last stop coaching in college.
Not worried about Edsall - just Lashlee.
I think Lashlee is here for at least another season or two. Of course, if UConn blows up and scores 40 points a game next year, then everything is off the table. We could only hope for that
Let's not get all G5 can't hold a coach.
Oregon and FSU have had their coaches coached this week.
