Its time to send Facey back to the weight room. It's unliky his game will develop enough over the remainder of the season to make a major difference. Right now, UConn is playing 4 on 5 on both ends of the court to start the game.
DHam just flat out needs to start at power forward. Clearly, not only is he a better defensive rebounder(Facey's strongest point) but he upgrades the position in every other category. His presence on the floor adds another
ball handler but most importantly it draws Facey's defender away from the middle, creating driving lanes for TSam and Purvis, the strong point of both their games. I wonder what UConn's offense would look like
if Brimah was no longer setting up in the low post. But setting high picks , using his baby jumper and rolling to the front of the rim.

Full court press to start game might help us out on the slow starts, and get rid of zone defenses- stick to man to man- the uconn way.

The press requires scores to set the defense. If you're not scoring it's very difficult to press.

We need to stop coming out and throwing the ball away immediately and often. Just take the first good open shot.

2-2-1 press after missed shot and jam the rebounder - it's very effective at slowing opposing team down enabling the press to set up/ and brimah protects rim
