It is pretty crazy. Think about the 1990s how they could never get over the hump until 1999. If someone told you 25 years later UConn would have 6 National Championships you would have said no way.
 
Essentially 25% of all championships against a field of hundreds of challengers. With Nova, Cuse, and including Louisville, teams with Big East credentials have won 40% of the tournaments in the last 25 years, plus Georgetown knocked on the door.
