With the ranked team behind at halftime in half of them.

Kansas stepped it up to take the lead, but so did unranked IL, so there are still 3.

Only Ok. State lost, though Purdue and Oklahoma came very close.

Not very impressive wins for any of those teams, eh? (except for Baylor whipping TCU)... And RU with a 4 point win over LaSalle? good grief - that's a 4-10 LaSalle team who lost games to Drexel, Loyola Chicago, and a 40 pointi loss to Albany, including a 30 point loss to UNC.

In fact, the UNC loss probably tells us the most about how bad LaSalle is...

Big East results could be written up in two very different ways:

Positive:
Five Big East team played, with four of five winning, and the last going to OT. Not bad

Not so positive.
Five Big East team played, and only Pittsburg managed to beat a team with a winning record, and that team (ODU) isn't good enough to go to the NCAA tournament.

Yikes, Hartford lost to Binghamton, only Binghamton's second win.

Big East is not good this year. And I don't see it getting any better in subsequent years.
