With a bunch of UConn fans coming back from the final four (I am not one of them, I am coming back from business in Green Bay). It amazes me how many folks don't know about the site. I m trying to inform them.

Oh, btw, Rebecca and Kara Wolters are on the flight.

It would be a sight to see them squeeze into today's version of coach seating. ;)

Would sure be nice if they could fly business class.....especially Kara.

A little more than a year ago (just prior to the Big East tournament) I was in Minneapolis for a week and flew back to Hartford with Niele Ivey. As the plane prepared to pull away from the gate there was still one empty seat left on the flight...next to me. I thought I was going to have the luxury of a little more room than usual when at the last minute a very pretty girl came down the aisle and indicated that she had the window seat next to me. At the time I didn't recognize her and we spoke very little until shortly before we landed in Hartford. As soon as she told me that she was in Hartford for the tournament I realized who she was and we chatted for several minutes about UConn and ND...and 2001. She appeared to be only slightly taller than average and, in jeans and a shirt, much slimmer than she appears on TV. So much so, to be honest, that I suspect she may have gained a little weight since then.

A few years back I was on an America West flight, flying first class, from Hartford to Phoenix to LA (I use to fly a lot and used my miles to upgrade on long flights) I was seated on the aisle and the last person to get on the flight was Diana Taursi, and she sat in the seat directly behind me. She was very nice and chatted easily with those around her......then slept most of the way to Phoenix. I was so high - I could have flown the plane. When I got off the plane I called everyone I knew to tell them about my amazing good fortune......I was so excited I was practically screaming into the phone.

I was glad I was one row infront of D, because when the plane landed, the masses from coach decended on D asking for pictures and autographs, clogging the aisle, and I had to catch a connecting flight to LA.

I met Kara at Mohegan Sun years ago and not only was my 5'1" self awed by her height; but also by how genuinely friendly and appreciative she was of UConn fans' support long after her graduation.
